Going to Bagigio is like having a special experience, Larry is a character, witty, friendly, poetic and very approachable. He wants everyone to get to know each other and eat and drink well! When we sat down he introduced all the tables to everyone, we are talking about 6-7 tables of an old-fashioned restaurant, wooden tables and paper placemats. We tried a trio of first courses, tortelloni with porcini mushrooms, tagliatelle with wild boar, and ravioli with robiola and bacon.I must say all 3 were very tasty, the porcini mushrooms were nice and fresh and gave an excellent flavor to the dish; good tagliatelle but a little too thin for my taste. For the second course they bring you endless, as long as you ask for it, fried polenta, shank with potatoes and portions of frigione, chopped sausage and mushrooms and other tasty appetizers in which to touch the fried polenta.Shank and potato I must say very good, the shank melted in your mouth!!All obviously accompanied by wine and water.Final bill including any 3 bitters 27 euros each.We will definitely be back!

The best atmosphere you can find with the best food I have lately had in a small characteristic village up on the appenines. The owner is full of wit but I don't know if in English too and can really make your experience at his restaurant unique.

More than a lunch, an experience that warmed our day and spirits. An incredible host paired with delicious food, all for a very modest price. Can you ask for more?

A friendly environment run by a wonderful team led by Larry…once you arrive you immediately feel like family, to the point that before lunch we applauded every other table for the presentations. The menu is essential and excellent, few dishes but done to perfection…If you are in these parts, a visit is a must, but even if you are not in these parts, come specifically to eat and then take a walk in the area, well done!!

It was a long climb, high up in the mountains, but it was so worth it!We had the most unique and unforgettable experience. Very tasty home cooked food, good wine, exceptional desert (not too sweet), extreme hospitality from the owner and staff. It was Easter, it felt like a special local event, - lots of people, who were all introduced to each other by the owner, who shared jokes, read some poetry and created a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring everyone had a very good time. The restaurant is quite unique itself, with amazing view on tops of the mountains and has a charming quirky interior

What can I say, Larry is a character. Nice and genuine like the dishes he prepares together with the cook (Cristina?) I finally managed to have lunch there after trying so many times. It was worth the wait, everything really good. The Bagigia cake is excellent.

More than a restaurant, it is a convivial place to eat together and enjoy an experience. No frills but pure courtesy and excellent food. Larry welcomes you into his home with his family and makes you feel good.
